Easy to use design
The UniX® Elbow Fixator is a solution for post-traumatic elbow stiffness and some acute elbow trauma cases. Its unilateral design allows for easy fixation during surgery and provides the advantages of the circular and/or bilateral frames.
The system’s unique design supports noninvasive methods to determine access of elbow rotation, eliminating the need for an invasive guidewire. Flexibility of standard unilateral fixator components provide the ability to fine tune and adjust orientation of hinge with axis of rotation. Distal pin-to-bar componentry allows unlimited half pin options for ulnar applications and proffers additional flexibility to adapt to presence of hardware.
Lightweight and MRI compatible
The combined titanium and aluminum composition of the external fixation system provides a lower-profile, patient-friendly and lightweight construct.
Active and Passive Motion/Distraction
Concentric hinges allow continuation of natural flexion and extension between 0 and 120 degrees. The central window provides surgical and radiographic access. Passive distraction of components results in excellent support for stiff elbow patients.
